German Trade and Company Law and General Civil Law
Our practice area is trade and company law. This concerns for instance the design and enforcement of contracts for sales of all kinds, including international contracts, as well as the selection and arrangement of suitable company structures. Our clients do business in the following areas: E-commerce, retail, trade with fruit and vegetables, mechanical engineering and real estate development, among others.
Dutch Civil Law
One further area of operation is Dutch civil law, trade law and business law. We conduct court proceedings and initiate enforcement measures on our clients’ behalf in The Netherlands.
International Business Enterprises in Germany and the Netherlands
We advise Polish, English, Israeli and other international companies with extending their business enterprise to the Germany and The Netherlands by concluding business partnerships, opening a branch office or setting up a subsidiary company. We represent our client’s interests before the German and Dutch civil courts.
Protection of Commercial Rights
We ensure the (international) protection of our clients’ trademarks, designs, patents and software. We draft licence agreements and contracts for the maintenance of providers and software, we protect our clients’ rights within existing contracts and defend them against warning letters. We handle matters concerning unfair competition.
Business enterprises are increasingly accused of having negative impacts on human rights. We consult on the risks of legal liability and the prospects of legal redress based on the laws of delict and competition. We also develop business-specific CSR concepts and consult on their integration into the company statute, rules of procedure and contractual relationships with other business enterprises.
